Team Members are an essential part of the Monkey Joe’s success.  They are often the first and last impression on our guests.  They are responsible for a wide array of tasks including:

  • Knowledge of all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a friendly, out-going, polite attitude

Description

Party Hosts primarily deals with parties and occasionally helps out up front and on the floor.  Must be great with children.  Needed more on weekends than any other days.  They are responsible for a wide array of tasks including:

  • Greets all party guests and ensures all children have signed in with Party Check in.
  • Has basic knowledge of how to book a party, the rules and regulations of the party and play area, as well as event procedures.
  • Ensures each room is correctly set up for every party
  • Ensures announcements are made to call party guests to the party suite
  • Makes sure the rooms are prepared for the parties with the paper products, drinks, pizzas, balloons, and any other requests the parents may have.
  • They keep in contact with the host parents and assist in any way possible to make their experience memorable
  • Consistently stays with the party to ensure the day is as special as possible
  • Makes sure parents know the rules/regulations and sign required waivers
  • Ensures all additions are tallied on party tab to ensure correct check out
  • Makes sure rooms are cleaned for each party
  • Assists in daily cleaning of all areas
  • Has knowledge of the Point of Sale system

ASSISTANT MANAGERS

This position is responsible for insuring the efficient and effective operational performance of the store.

Job Description:
• Ensure kid / customer safety by continuously monitoring children’s play
• Provide a fun & safe customer experience
• 40 hour work weeks and flexible to work on weekdays and weekends
• Must be present during busiest times (will take off on the slowest days)
• Control sales and inventory through a point of sale management system
• Be knowledgeable of all facets of Monkey Joe’s business
• Manage groups, parties and walk-in play
• Merchandise concession area
• Generate inventory reports and order supplies
• Keep store organized, clean, and presentable for business
• Responsible for the safety of all customers and resolve concerns
• Ensure store security from internal and external theft
• Review store goals
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed by Regional Staff
• Responsible for safe and cash handling procedures
• Provide employee training when necessary
• Manage employee work responsibilities
• Evaluate employee performance

Start at $10.00/hour

Experience

General knowledge of retail store operations and some background in hospitality, child care or education is a must. Applicant must have at least 2 years experience as an assistant manager or manager in a related field.   Needs to have strong initiative, leadership skills and good problem solving skills.
